Can I attend classes if I am pregnant?
Please contact us but as a general rule if you are new to the studio we ask you to wait until you are 16 weeks and attend classes with Linda
Can I attend without a booking?
Yes, we accept casual attendance but please check the timetable for availability.
Can I come if I have a sore back/ neck?
Yes, many people start yoga for that reason and experience significant improvement with regular class attendance. On arrival to your first class we will check about any diagnosis and medical advise given to you.
Can I do yoga if I am menstruating?
Yes you can but alternative poses may be given as some are a contraindicated to menstruation.
Can I do yoga with a recent injury?
Yes, as long as you are fairly mobile we can use support and modify postures to your need.
Can I do yoga with an ongoing medical condition?
We can cater to many conditions such as High blood pressure but may give alternate poses as required. On arrival to your first class we will check about any diagnosis and medical advise given to you.
Can I eat before class?
Allow at least 1-2 hrs before a small meal and 3-4 hrs before a large one.
Can I pay in cash?
Yes, we accept cash payment at the studio but prefer online payment and reservations.
Do I need to bring anything?
No, we provide all the equipment at the studio
Is there a toilet/ change room facility?
Yes, adjacent to the studio.
Is yoga a religion?
Yoga is not a religion. The focus in class is on body (postures), breath and mind and bringing these into harmony with each other.
Is Yoga good for menopause?
Yes, yoga helps to regulate the bodies hormonal system and thus helps to deal with symptoms such as mood swings, hot flushes, sleep struggles.
Is yoga good for mental health issues?
What should I wear?
Comfortable sportswear that you can move in.
